This is me (or, dammit I hate being branded)

March 28th, 2006

First, read this New Yorker article about the new generation of parents.

My answers to the first question

  1. Have iPod with Bloc Party in heavy rotation. Check.
  2. Can’t afford Urban Outfitters. Not me.
  3. Does poker night count? Then check.
  4. I would stay out all night for the New Pornographers, the last time I stayed out all night though was for the Decemberists. Check.
  5. My jeans are just falling apart, which I don’t think is cool. Not me.
  6. I have already played Sufjan Stevens for Madeleine, and recently downloaded the Innocence Mission and Lisa Loeb for her. Am strongly anti-Wiggles. Check.
  7. Have no fashion at all, but do have sneakers. Not me.

Well, you get the point. I’m a grup that can’t dress himself.

  • Alex (Senecal) Miller's witty remark:

    Hey Eric,
Gabi steered me to your site- very cool. And your daughter is beautiful!
My husband, Aaron, and I are expecting our first - a girl- at the end of August.
Good luck with the internet biz - I’ve reluctantly done a few websites and realize it is not my medium.
    Nice site though! Take care-
    Alex
